Friday, August 13 (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) Theft Stated by the prosecution to have removed six coat hangers from the cloakroom of a services’ club in the city, Clarence Brown, aged 20, a soldier, and Eric James King, a boilermaker, also aged 20, were jointly charged with theft.—The charge was adjourned for three months, each defendant to make a donation of £5 to the funds of the club. Liquor Near Dance Hall George Philip Prattley, aged 39, a carpenter, was fined £2 and cost’s for being in possession of liquor in the vicinity of a dance hall. Other Cases The Graham Coal Company was fined £2 10s and costs for operating a motor truck without efficient brakes. For removing liquor from licensed premises after hours, John Roy Boswell, aged 58, an hotel portdr, was fined £2 10s and costs. For casting offensive matter in a public place, James Ernest Cullen was fined £2 and costs. For allowing stock to wander, James Houlahan was fined £1 5s and costs. NEVER NEGLECT A COLD.
