THE QUEST FOR OIL
(P.A.) GISBORNE, Aug. 12. The New Zealand Petroleum Company reports that the dismantling of the drilling rig at the Devon No. 2 well at New Plymouth has been completed. The road to the site of the new test well at Uruti is nearing completion, and the construction of the foundations for a drilling place are well advanced.
