DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE A fair amount of business was transacted on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday, and several sales were reported. There was a good inquiry for Government 4 per cent, issues, but there was little activity in regard to other issues of stock. Bank of New South Wales shar.es were quoted at £33 15s buyers, and £34 5s sellers, and while buyers were offering £2 9s 3d for National Bank of New Zealands, sellers would not come below £2 10s 3d. There were buyers for all insurance shares, but sellers were reticent. Southland Frozen Meats were wanted at £2 Is, but there were no sellers. There was a buyer for Westport Coals at £1 ss, without a selling quotation, and Kaitangata Coals were on offer at £1 14s 3d without a buyer.
