MILTON
Hockey.—Milton A met Bruce B on Taylor Park on Saturday, and won by 4 goals to 1. Air Training Corps.—Flight Lieutenant C. W. Gillies, commander of the Dunedin wing of the Air Training Corps, visited Milton on Friday last to make arrangements for the formation of a unit. Messrs C P. Keppel, L. M. Scott, U. Walker, G. Melville, and C. Keenan were appointed a local Advisory Committee. Flight Lieutenant Gillies said that 25 enrolments were necessary for the formation of a unit. Parade nights would be confined to two nights a week, one a service parade and one an educational parade. Patriotic Dance.—There was again a good attendance at the fortnightly dance under the auspices of the Patriotic Committee. Music was supplied by Mrs C. Keinan and Messrs F. Cheyne and M. Morrison. Mr W. Carruthers was the M.C.
