ARMSTRONG.—On August 12, 1943, at his residence, 2a Coughtrey street, St. Clair, Alfred Francis, dearly beloved husband of Cora Armstrong; aged 70 years.— The Funeral will leave the residence on Saturday, the 14th inst., at 2 p.m., for ihc Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors.

BEATTIE.—On August 11, 1943,'at Dunedin, Florence Mary, beloved wife of James Watson Beattie, 65 Melville street, and loved riiother of Joy and May, and grandmother of Clarence and Ronald; aged 62 vears. “At rest.”—The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 78 St. Andrew street, To-day • (Friday), the 13th inst., at 2 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Hope, and Kinaston, funeral directors.

BISSETT.—On August 11, 1943, at a private hospital, the Rev. John Bissett, dearly beloved husband of the late Mary Bissett, and loved father of Eunice, Mary, Theo,. Robert, David, Ernest,, and James. “ In Thy. presence is fullness of joy.”—A service will be held at St. David’s Church,' Auckland, at 10.45 a.m., To-day (Friday). BUTLER.—On August 12, 1943, at Dunedin. Richard, dearly beloved husband of the late Mary Jane Butler (late of Balfour); in his eighty-sixth year. “With Christ, which is far better.” —The Funeral will leave the residence of his daughter (Mrs M.
