WAIPIATA FUNCTION
A social was held in the Waipiata Hall on Monday night to welcome home Private J. McCracken, who has returned from the Middle East. Mr Howell (chairman of the Patriotic Committee) welcomed Private McCracken on behalf of the residents, and presented him with a monetary gift. Dance music was supplied by Messrs Howell brothers.
