.«* CLOUDY AND COLD Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate winds, from an easterly quarter; weather cloudy and cold, with scattered drizzle, especially in tlic morning Further Outlook. —Similar conditions. Weather in Dunedin.—Overcast and showery conditions were experienced in Dunedin yesterday morning, but the weather cleared during the day. There was a light south-east breeze, \and temperatures we£e ; Coot;« - Thtff'b&fometer remained steady during the day,-but rose in the evening, the reading at midnight being 30.45 inches (1031 millibars).
