BEATTIE. —On August 11, 1943, at Dunedin, Florence Mary, beloved wife of James Watson Beattie, 65 Melville street, and loved mother of Joy and May and grandmother of and Ronald: aged 62 years. “At rest. —The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 78 St. Andrew street, on Friday, the 13th inst., at 2 p.m.. for‘the Southern Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. BLACKWOOD.—On August 10, 1943, at 'Dunedin, Margaret, beloved wife of Robertson Blackwood, of Lawrence: aged 82 vears. “At rest.”—The Funeral will leave her late residence, Lawrence, on Friday, the 13th inst., at 11 a.m., for the Lawrence Cemetery.—C. Moyle, funeral director. FLEMING—On July 29, 1943, at her daughter's (Mrs Hazel Phillips) residence 7 Jersey avenue, Mount Albert, Auckland, Dora Margaret (Dome), widow of the late Chas. Fleming of Dargaville, and beloved mother of Phyllis (Mrs Osborne), Hazel (Mrs Phillips), and Jean (Mrs Lock), and much loved youngest daughter of the late Thomas and Jane Josephine Hewitt, and loved sister of the late Charles and Thomas Snowden, also the late Susan Jane Gertrude (Gert Storey, and much loved sister of Edith Marv Butler, ” Tapanui,” 43 Anglesea street, Ponsonby; in her fifty-sixth year. " Peacefully sleeping.”—Cremated at Waikumete, Auckland, July 31, 1943.
