TASMAN FLYING BOAT
A RECORD CROSSING (Rec. 2 a.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 10. Piloted by Captain O. Garden, a Tasman flying boat flew from Auckland to Sydney to-day in seven hours eight minutes, breaking by one minute the east-west record of the Tasman Empire Airways.
