THE WEATHER
CLOUDY, WITH DRIZZLE Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate to fresh southerly to southeasterly winds; weather fair inland, but cloudy elsewhere, with scattered drizzle; temperatures cold. Further Outlook. Similar conditions. Weather in Dunedin.—Overcast but dry' conditions prevailed in Dunedin yesterday morning, and the sun broke through during the afternoon. Conditions, however. deteriorated towards nightfall, ana rain fell during the evening. There was a light southerly breeze, and temperatures were cool. The barometer showed a rising tendency, and at midnight the reading was 30.26 inches (1025 millibars). The following are the meteorological observations taken yesterday at the Daily Times Office:-.
