HONGKONG AND BURMA AMERICAN AIR ACTIVITY (Rec. 7 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 7. According to an agency message, strong formations of the United States Fourteenth Air Force, Liberators based in China, raided the dock installations and repair yards at Hongkong on Thursday. They met no fighter opposition and none of the Liberators was damaged. A message from Allahabad quotes Chungking as reporting that American planes attacked railway targets in Burma. The Meilke Railway Station was damaged, and at other places railway tracks and rolling stock were destroyed. One American plane is missing.
