THE ITALIAN MAINLAND

BOMBING RAIDS RESUMED (Rep. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 8. The last raid on Italy by home-based bombers of the R.A.F. was on July 24, when Lancasters, returning to Britain from North Africa, bombed Leghorn.
