SHOT DEAD IN ROME
(Rec. 5 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 7. An Istanbul message says that the wife , of Nurettine' Vergine, who is Turkish Embassy counsellor at Rome, was shot dead in a battle between the police and Fascists in a Rome street.
