SALE OF PIG MEATS
PERIOD OF PROHIBITION EXTENDED (P.A.) WELLINGTON. July 16. It was announced to-day by the Food Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas, that, owing to the continued shortage of pig meats required to meet essential demands, the period of prohibition of the retail sale of pork had been extended from July 18 to September 30. ’
