The final opportunity for a slow class performer will be provided at the South Canterbury Hunt Club's meeting, for which nominations close to-day. The Washdyke Trot is for a 3min 38sec class. Joan Conquest, who won five races and £I7BO in stakes during the season, is now in work for the Metropolitan meeting next month. She is reported to be in fine robust health. Last season Joan Conquest won twice, and ran a second and two thirds in six starts. She is now rising seven.
