TROTTING NOTES
By Sentinel It Is reported that Lady Scott is back in work again. She has been a good winner, but met with a mishap early in the season. Paul Collette has shown speed in his races, but so far has failed to run up to the promise of his track work. He is reported to have done well since his last race, end may do better in his second 1 season. The final opportunity for a slow class performer will be provided at the South Canterbury Hunt Club's meeting, for which nominations close to-day. The Washdyke Trot is for a 3min 38sec class. Joan Conquest, who won five races and £I7BO in stakes during the season, is now in work for the Metropolitan meeting next month. She is reported to be in fine robust health. Last season Joan Conquest won twice, and ran a second and two thirds in six starts. She is now rising seven.
