PLEA OF NOT GUILTY
CHARGES AGAINST EDITOR NEW YORK, July 9. Frederick Heizer Wright, copy editor of the Daily News, pleaded not guilty in the Federal Court and was remanded for trial until August 9. Bail was fixed at 5000 dollars. A message received on Saturday stated that a Federal grand jury indicted Wright on charges that for 10 years he acted as a paid agent of the Japanese Government until the attack on Pearl Harbour without notifying the Stat<j Department about the matter. .
