CHILD FATALLY SCALDED
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, July 12. A two-year-old child died in the Patea Hospital to-day as the result of scalds. He was Ernest George Mills, son of Mr and Mrs George Mills, of Patea. The child put his mouth near the spout of a kettle of boiling water on the stove and inhaled a quantity of steam and swallowed 1 some of the water.
