OBITUARY
MR WILLIAM J. WILSON The death occurred in Melbourne on Friday last of Mr William James Wilson, a brother of Mr E. S. Wilson, of Dunedin. The deceased was born in Australia, and came to Dunedin as a youth, receiving his education at the Otago Boys’ High School and Orokonui College. He entered the , service of the Standard Insurance Company and later was employed on the staff of the National Insurance Company, transferring to the company’s Melbourne office in 1898. He retired from the service of the company in 1933 after holding the position of manager for some years. Following a trip to New Zealand, when he was tendered a farewell function by the directors of the company, he returned to Melbourne to live. Mr Wilson is survived by his wife.
