MEETING OF COMMITTEE A meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Rugby Football Union was held last night, the president (Mr W. J. Pearson) occupying the chair. A letter was received from the physical welfare branch if the Department of Internal Affairs requesting permission to play a match as a curtain-raiser at Carisbrook on June 26 between representative teams from the Dunedin and Invercargill Air Training Corps in conjunction with an A.T.C. recruiting rally.—Granted. A motion of sympathy with the relatives* of Captain C. S. Pepper, who was killed as the result? of a fall from a Wellington building, was passed.
