MACANDREW BAY ORPHANS’ CLUB
The Macandrew Bay Orphans’ Club held a club night on Saturday last in the public hail, Bro. R. S. Glendining presided over a large attendance. Items were contributed by the following:—Legerdemain, Bro. T. Tliomson; songs, Brbs. Oates and D. Rvan; recitations, Bros. J, P. Vivian and W. Maule. Some experiences in the life of ” John Citizen ” were related by Bro. W. W. Small. Bro. Nicholson was the accompanist. A cordial welcome was extended to Bro. D. Ryan, who has returned to the club after army service. The president advised members that there would be a visit from the Dunedin Orphans’ Club on June 26. Four new members were initiated. The next club night will be Saturday, June 12.
