COMMUNITY SING
The usual weekly sing will be held in the Strand Theatre on Friday, commencing at noon. A special attraction will be the appearance of Mr Roy McDougall, who was one of the outstanding performers in “ Hullo Victory ” revue, and will sing the two numbers from the revue, “ White Dove ” and “ Vienna, City of My Dreams. ’ The proceeds this week are for the Sick and Wounded and Prisoners-of-war Funds, and another good programme has been arranged. Flowers or goods for the stall will be welcome, and donations may be sent to Begg’s.
