NORTH-EAST VALLEY CLUB The annual meeting of the North-East Valley Bowling Club was held last night. Office-bearers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—President, Mr J. Hope: vice-presidents, Messrs W. A. Jenkins and J. Knowles; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. J. Rice; committee—Messrs E. H. Ravenwood, J. Rhodes, H. Hands, W. J. Rennick; delegates to the centre — Messrs A. J. Rice (executive), C. Fraser and G. Dunn (general); selector, Mr A. Taylor; auditors, Messrs J. H. Dodd and J. A. Deuchrass; Billiards’ Committee— Messrs G. Cook, C. Purvis, and S. Dodd; Ties Committee—Messrs E. H. Ravenwood, H. Hands, and C. McDonald. It was decided to conduct the same number of club tie competitions as last year, namely, championship singles and doubles, handicap singles, and club doubles. It was decided tp enter lour rinks for the Adess Shield.
