FAIR TO FINE Forecast for Otago.—The following 1 official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at. 5. p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office > in Wellington;— *.. Moderate northerly to northeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coast; weather fair to fine apart from some morning low cloud or mist; temperatures moderating. - Further Outlook.—Occasional showers in the south, otherwise fair. Weather in Dunedin.—A heavy frost wa* experienced yesterday, and temperature* remained cold throughout the day, although the sun shone brightly. There was a light nojjth-easterly breeze. , The barometer was steady, and the midnight reading was 30.34 in (1027 millibars).
