BUILDING PERMITS
Thirty-seven building permits were issued by the city building surveyors office during the month of May, the total value being £14,542. The figures for May of last year were 35 permits of a value of £15,267. Last month’s permits were mainly for alterations, repairs, and small additions, but included two new dwellings, and a substantial addition to the laundry at the Talboys Home.
