DEATH ON AIR OPERATIONS
The death has now been presumed on air operations of Warrant-officer H. M. Thompson, only son of Mrs and the late Mr H. T. Thompson, formerly of Lawrence. He is the second grandson of the late Mr John Thompson who has been killed in action. Warrant-officer Thompson received his Initial training at the Taieri Aerodrome, and prior to enlisting was engaged in farming.
