FLAX WORKERS’ DISPUTE
RESUMPTION UNDER PROTEST (P.A.) PALMERSTON, N., Apl. 30. It was intimated to-day that the flax and textile workers at Foxton, who ceased work owing to differences of pay for operating two scutching machines, which they claimed did identical work, would resume at midnight to-night, but under protest pending a settlement of the dispute by negotiation..
