Sir —The butchers’ latest idea is to run a few beasts up to the limit and get the price. The judge of price is the butcher, but the farmer, the auctioneer. What about the consumer? Now, Sir, the freezing company states that it will pay’ a fixed price. If one buys too high it no redress. Are the butchers no judges of weight?-! am. etc.. Mamer#
