MOSGIEL RETURNED SERVICEMEN
At the annual meeting of returned servicemen of Mosgiel and the district the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Chairman, Mr T. L. Gibson; deputy chairman, Mr J. B. Hey; secretary and treasurer, Mr T. S. Smeaton; committee—Messrs R. L. Fairmaid (immediate past chairman), J. Connor, W. Korna, E. J. Mason, R. Wylie, J. Gordon, J. Kenny, and G. Cole (honorary member). Presenting his report for the past year, Mr Fairmaid thanked all the members of the committee and helpers' for their support during his term of office. Arrangements were made for the annual church parade to be held to-morrow evening at St. Luke’s Anglican Church. The committee was asked to arrange for the annual complimentary social to the Poppy Day helpers.
