AWARDS FOR AIRMEN
PACIFIC TRANSPORT SERVICE (N ZP.A. Special Aust. Correspondent) (Red. 7 pun.) SYDNEY, Apl. 22. Men of the air transport service have received awards from the commander of the Allied Air Force in the Southwest Pacific, Lieutenant-general G. C Kenney, for outstanding work in the Papuan campaign. Ninety-seven DisFlying Crosses, 20 Air Medals, and two Purple Hearts have been awarded.
