MR JONES IN ENGLAND
TOUR MAY BE SHORTENED (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent) (Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Apl. 21. The New Zealand Minister of Defence, Mr F. Jones, returned to London unexpectedly, interrupting his visits to New Zealanders serving with the R.A.F. He visited them at operational training units, and also inspected the Morris munition factories, where he saw tanks, gliders, and anti-aircraft guns being built. There is a possibility that Mr Jones’s visit to Britain may be shorter than expected.
