£45,000 TRUST FUND
EDUCATION OF PROMISING BOYS '(P.A.) GISBORNE, Apl. 19. Under the will of Mr W. Barrington Miller a trust fund, which it is estimated will amount to approximately £45,000, has been established for the purpose of assisting promising boys in the Gisborne and East Coast district to receive higher education. Some time prior to his death Mr Miller took steps to create the trust and transferred assets valued at £IO,OOO to the Public Trustee for this purpose. His will provides that the residue of the estate, after 1 allowing for legacies and annuities, shall accrue to the educational trust, bringing its total value to £45,000.
