LAWRENCE STOCK SALE
Approximately 1000 sheep came forward at the stock sale held at Lawrence yesterday. There was a large attendance of buyers and values were fairly firm at late rates. Good ewe lambs made to 27s 6d full-mouth crossbred ewes, 20s Bd, full and failing-mouth crossbred ewes 14s to 15s* failing-mouth crossbred ewes, 7s to 12s; full and failing-mouth halfbred ewes, lls 6d; young vjethers, 20s to 235.
