LAWRENCE STOCK SALE
The Lawrence stock sale was held today under excellent conditions, and there was a good attendance of - buyers. A large yarding of 5000 sheep came forward. ‘and met with keen competition throughout. Prices obtained were on a par with previous sales. Approximately 100 rams were penned, and these sold at late rates. , ~ Quotations.— Medium two-tooth- ewes, 30s 3d to 34s 3d; good sound-mouthed ewes to 24s Id; medium sound-mouth ewes, from 19s to 20s 8d; full-mouth ewes, from 16s to 18s; full and failing-mouth ewes from 7s 4d to 11s 7d; good- ewe lambs, to 26s sd; medium ewe lambs, from 19s to 235; small ewe lambs, 15s to 16s 6d; good m.s. lambs, to 20s 9d; small m.s. lambs, from 11s 4d to 13s Id; forward wether lambs, 19s 3d; medium wether lambs, 14s to 16s.
