At a meeting of directors of Messrs Kempthorne, Prosser, and Co.’s (N.Z.) Drug: Company, Ltd., held yesterday afternoon, a dividend of 4i per cent.; making 8 per cent, for the year, was recommended.

Scott Bros., produce merchants and commission agents, registered egg and onion merchants, report:—Eggs: Pay-out values for consignments received March 8 to 12 will be—heavy, 2s 4d; standard, 2s 2d; medium,. Is lid. Butter: Wanted; Is per lb. Poultry: Hens, Is 6d to 2s each; heavy breeds. 3s 6d to 4s each;‘ ducks, 2s to 2s 9d each; ducklings, 4s 6d to 6s each; cockerels, Is 9d to 2s 6d each; goslings, 3s 6d to 5s 6d each; turkeys, to Is per lb, live weights. Potatoes (unripe): New Oamaru and Outram; poor demand, nominally, 6s cwt; King Edward, 7s cwt. Green peas, 2d to 3d per lb. Whole fowl wheat, 21s 6d to 25s per sack. Chaff: Prime oaten sheaf, £6 10s per ton. ex truck; £7, ex: store, bags extra. Whole maize, 8s per bushel. Oyster grit, 6s rid per 1001 b bag. Straw: Wheaten. 2s 9d per bale; barley, 3s per bale, cx store. Lucerne meal, 12s 8d pei bag. Canterbury onions, 13s cwt. < Oat dust, 5s 6d pa- sack.
