FIXED PRICES EXCEEDED
FINES OF £2O IMPOSED ON GROCER (P.A.) TE AROHA, Mar. 15. In the Magistrate’s Court to-day C. Foster, a storekeeper, was charged with selling groceries at rates higher than those fixed by the Price Tribunal —viz., lib of rice at 6d instead of ssd, and one bottle of essence of coffee at 2s 4d instead of 2s Id. There were two charges, and the defendant was fined £lO and costs on each.
