An intimation that the airgraph service* was not available at present for messages addressed to civilians was received at a meeting of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. “ The volume of airgraph work which can be undertake! is limited by the capacity of the equipment and the air-carrying facilities made available to the Post Office for the purpose,” wrote Mr A. Pellow, chief postmaster at Wellington. ‘‘ln addition, it must be borne in mind that the equipment in New Zealand is used also for communications of the American forces in the Dominion.
