A HUGE PAYMENT
AMERICAN TAX INSTALMENT (Rec. 9 p.m.) NEW* YORK, Mar. 13. A man walked into the New York Taxation Office to-day and paid in a cheque for 42,000,000 dollars. The tax official was not permitted to reveal the name of the person or corporation making the payment, but said it was only the first of four instalments.
