SUBMARINE OVERDUE
RUGBY, Mar. 11. The Admiralty announces that submarine P 311 is overdue and must be presumed lost. The P 311 was commanded by Commander R. D. Cayley, D.S.O. and two bars, who was one of the outstanding captains of the present war. He sank 69,000 tons of Axis shipping in 15 months. He also torpedoed an Italian cruiser.
