FAIR AND MILD, Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago covering the ensuing 24 hours was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington • Fresh north-westerly winds, changing later to south-westerly; weather fair and rather milder at' first, but occasional rain following the change. Further Outlook.—Gradually improving. Weather in Dunedin. —The weather was fine yesterday, and the sun shone almost uninterruptedly all day. A light northeasterly breeze prevailed, and temperatures were warm. The barometer was steady, the reading at midnight being 30.12 inches (1020 millibars).
