ENGAGEMENTS
The engagement is announced of Frederick Bert, second son of Mr Marshall and Mrs F. J. Marshall, of Raurimu, King Country, North Island, and Nelsie Eileen, only daughter of Mrs Ansell and the late Mr A. E. Ansell, of Dunedin. The engagement is announced between Sergeant John Watson Smith, R.N.Z.A.F., elder son of Mrs T. Smith, of “ Victoria,” St. Leonards, and the late Mr T. Smith, M.A. (Glasgow), and Heather Marion, youngest daughter of Mrs K. A. Finlayson, of Manurewa, Auckland, and the late Mr K. Finlayson.
