HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES MAN-POWER DEBATE NEXT WEEK (F.0.P.R.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 12. Three Bills were passed by the House of Representatives to-day. They were the Ministry of Works Bill, the Commercial Gardens Registration Bill, and the Finance Bill. Consideration of the Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks Amendment Bill was deferred. Discussion on these measures occupied most of the day. „ , Late in the afternoon the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, gave a brief outline of the Dominion’s man-power requirements, both for the armed forces and for industry, and his statement will be the basis of a general debate next Wednesday. . „„ Before the House rose at 4.25 p.m. opportunity was taken to bid farewell to Mr L. G. Lowry (Govt., Otaki) and Mr W. P.
