PATRIOTIC STREET DAY
The street appeal to-day will be the first major activity of the DunedinSt. Kilda Patriotic Committee for 1943, and a generous response is requested from the public. The organisation of the collection is being assisted by 15 separate women’s organisations, members of which have undertaken to sell badges. Many of the helpers will be on duty from 7.30 this morning. The whole of the proceeds will go to the All Purposes 1943 Appeal, and will ultimately be used for the provision of amenities for the men and women in the fighting services.
