ST. JAMES THEATRE

■' Deep in the Heart of Texas,” featuring Gene Autry, is the main feature on the new programme which will commence at the St. James Theatre to-morrow. The story, which is a departure from Autry s previous films, tells of a group of girls from an exclusive eastern school who go to the west to spend the summer at a ranch. One of the girls, a spoiled and precocious child, whose one ideal is money, is unwilling to go to the ranch, but her father, engrossed with the business of making millions, Insists. At the ranch she endeavours to create misery for everyone before the foreman (Gene Autry) transforms her into a lovable and wholesome child. A strong supporting cast includes Fay McKenzie and Edith Fellows.
