AMUSEMENTS

CURRENT PROGRAMMES GRAND THEATRE Fay Wray and Paul Kelly have the leading roles In " Not a Ladies' Man," a simple drama concerning a boy and his father, which is showing at the Grand Theatre. The story is based upon the problems confronting a 12-year-old youngster whose parents have beer, divorced and whose father, with whom he lives, loses interest in everything. Billy decides that the only solution to this is to get his father another wife. His plans work, too, when his father meets and falls in love with his school teacher. Finally reconciled to the fact that the school teacher will lake his mother's place, Billy receives yet another shock when his father, a district attorney, refuses to continue to prosecute a wellknown racketeer, and is accused of dishonesty. The boy is broken-hearted until he learns, from the school teacher, the real reason for the discontinuation of the prosecution. The associate feature is “ Lawless Plainsmen,” a gripping story of the west, in which Charles Starrett and Russell Hayden provide an abundance of thrills as they fight the fearless Redskins.
