PEACE FOR CHINA
REPORTED JAPANESE PLAN (Rec. 11 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 26. The Washington correspondent of the New York Times says that the Japanese Prime Minister, General Tojo, plans to offer China a separate peace not later than September. This statement is based on information which was received by the Korean National Front Federation. The proposal includes: 1. That China withdraw from the United Nations and remain neutral for the duration of the war. 2. That Japan restore all the occupied territories to China. 3. A joint Chinese-Japanese commission to reorganise Manchukuo for tiljoint post-war ownership of Man churia. 4. That Japan grant Chi--1,000,000,000 yen credit on the Iclease pattern for reconstruction.
