FALL FRCUVI LADDER Robert Flaws, aged 14, residing with his parents at 14 Rosebery street, Mornington, was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital yesterday suffering from head injuries as the result of falling from a ladder in Jubilee Park. His condition is reported to be satisfactory. ARM AMPUTATED The condition of Mr Robert Hamilton, a mill worker, aged 60, whose right arm was amputated following injuries received in a machine at the Roslyn Woollen Mills, is reported to be satisfactory. A FATAL COLLISION (P.A.) GREYMOUTH, Jan. 27. Samuel Aylward, aged 21, a medical student, son of Dr Aylward, of Blackball, received fatal injuries last evening when the motor cycle he was riding collided at Ngahere with a butcher’s van. The driver of the van was slightly injured.

The City and South Dunedin Fire Brigades responded to a call from the corner of Somerville and Every streets, Anderson’s Bay, at 11.49 p.m. yesterday. It was found to be a malicious false alarm. The brigade received a call to a chimney fire at 5 Haig street, Mornington, at 5.30 p.m.
