CLOUDY AND CHANGEABLE Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— North-westerly to westerly winds, strong at times; weather cloudy and changeable, with occasional rain developing from the south; temperatures mild, but becoming cooler. Further Outlook. Changeable westerly conditions. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather yesterday was fine and sunny during the morning, but shortly before mid-day the sky became overcast, although temperatures remained warm. There was a light breeze from the north-east, and the barometer fell slightly, the reading at midnight being 29.81 inches (1009 millibars).
