LONDON HEADQUARTERS CHANGE IN COMMAND ANNOUNCED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 29. The Minister of Defence, Mr F. Jones, announced to-day that Air Commodore A. de T. Nevill had relieved Air Commodore L. M. Isitt as Air Officer Commanding, R.N.Z.A.F. headquarters, London, on December 23, and
that the latter officer is now returning to New Zealand for duty with the R.N.Z.A.F.
Mr Jones remarked that Air Commodore Isitt had been in England for the past six months, during which time he basl had close experience with all aspects of air operations and R.A.F. administration under war conditions. He had also taken a leading part in the negotiations on the recent revision of the British Commonwealth air training plan, as well as in connection with the setting up of the R.N.ZA.F. headquarters in London.
