ST. CLAIR WOMEN'S CLUB
The members of the St. Clair Women's Club spent a pleasant evening on Monday when a programme arranged by Mrs p. Bardsley was presented. The first part of the entertainment was a waxworks show, the characters being taken from nursery rhymes and well-known pictures, each being cleverly introduced by Mrs Bardsley. The concluding part of the programme took the form of an " oldfashioned variety show," the performers being dressed in black and gold pierrot costumes, and consisted of songs, duets, and sketches.
