BRITAIN'S WAR EXPENDITURE RUGBY, June 16. In the House of Commons, the Lord Chancellor, Viscount Simon, said it was estimated, that Britain's total national expenditure this year would be £5,286,000,000, of wfrch about £4,500,000,000 would be war expenditure. That did not incjyde aid from the United States under the LeaseLend agreement. The war was costing £14,500,000 a day.
